SSC CGL 2017 Tier 2 Mains Exam Date and Syllabus

Qualified the SSC CGL 2017 Tier-1 Exam. Know the Exam Dates and Syllabus for SSC CGL 2017 Tier-2 Mains Exam. 


SSC 2017 Exam dates are out and everyone is waiting for the announcement of SSC CGL 2017 Notification. If things, for SSC go as per planned, then Notification for CGL 2017 Exam, will be announced on 11th March, 2017. But, most of the time, we see there is postponement and rescheduling of SSC Notifications and Exam Dates. 

The recent example is SSC CHSL 2016 Exam, for which the Notification was delayed by 3 months and eventually the Tier-1 Exams were held after a delay of 4 months.

SSC CGL Syllabus 

Or we can say that, your Selection in the CGL Exam, depends, very much on your performance in the Tier-2 stage. If, you manage to get more marks in CGL Tier-2 exam, then your chances of being selected will be on higher side. 

Reason is SSC CGL Tier-2 has the maximum weightage among all the Tiers in CGL Exam

1) Tier-1 : 200 Marks
2) Tier-2 : 400 Marks
3) Tier-3 : 100 Marks

 That is CGL Tier-2 Exam has a weighate of 57%  among all the the three Tiers

But remember, All the three Tiers are equally important for selection, because to be shortlisted for Tier-2, you need to Qualify the Tier-1 and that too, with goods marks and To be shortlisted for Final selection, you need to Qualify CGL Descriptive Paper (Tier-3)
